1,000 piece puzzle

For Easter, we received a 1,000 piece puzzle. The girls were eager to try it so we cleared off our craft table and started. It is a really hard puzzle so Malia quickly lost interest. Davey got most of the edge done before hitting a wall. I helped her sort and get moving again and she stuck with it until the end.

I spent lots of hours on this puzzle. I would start feeling guilty knowing that I could be doing all sorts of more productive things with my time. But then I would tell myself I was on Spring Break too. I think there is something strangely therapeutic about creating order from the pieces. I think we will be doing lots more big puzzles in the near future.
